The short version
Checked against each vendor’s live pricing page on 2026-10-16, no account logged in, no trial started. What Upvoty costs, for reference: Power $15/mo, Super $25/mo, Hyper $49/mo billed monthly (annual billing knocks 10% off), one project on the first two tiers, unlimited boards and tracked users, 14-day trial with no credit card.
The alternatives fall into four billing philosophies, and picking one is mostly a bet on which of these you will still like at 3× your current size:
| Alternative | Price (read 2026-10-16) | Billing shape | When it beats Upvoty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Canny | Free $0 · Pro $79/mo billed yearly · Business custom | Grows with your user count (spend cap optional) | You want the category-standard free tier and don’t mind usage pricing above it |
| FeatureBase | $29 / $59 / $99 per seat/mo billed yearly, +$0.49 per AI resolution | Per-seat + AI add-on metering | You want AI-handled feedback triage and can accept seat math |
| Fider | Free plan · Pro $25 | Flat | You want a simple flat rate without per-seat inflation |
| UserVoice | No publicly listed price — plans scale with feedback volume, contact sales | Volume/enterprise | You need procurement-grade contracts, not self-serve |
| Tally (DIY) | See our Tally pricing read | Free-first form builder | You’d rather assemble voting boards from forms than buy a feedback suite |
| Notion / Airtable DIY | Free tiers on both tools | Workspace tool | You only need a public list and votes, and roadmap/changelog features are optional |
The one number that decides most teams: seat math vs project math
Upvoty’s $15 and $25 tiers are project-based with unlimited tracked users — a five-person product team on Upvoty Power pays $15/mo total. The same team on FeatureBase’s Growth tier pays 5 × $29 = $145/mo. Canny’s page says pricing “scale[s] up as you get more users” with an optional spend limit, so its real cost sits between the two and depends on your count.
Read the other way: per-seat pricing is honest when only two people ever log into the tool, and project pricing is honest when the whole company votes.
What Upvoty gives you that the cheap options don’t
From Upvoty’s own pricing page: public roadmap, custom branding and domain start at the $15 tier; changelog, all integrations and priority support arrive at $25; unlimited projects, custom SSO, API/webhooks and an Upvoty MCP come at $49. Canny’s free tier is the strongest no-money option in this table, but its paid tier starts above Upvoty’s top self-serve tier.
What this page does not cover
We did not log into Upvoty or any alternative, so there is no score and no hands-on claim — this is a documentation read of public pricing pages. Prices change without notice: Canny and FeatureBase figures above are the billed-yearly states their pages displayed on 2026-10-16; Nolt’s pricing page returned a bot-challenge wall during our check and is therefore not listed.
